Where is Your Company Located? What If I Live In a Different State?

Our home office is located in Orlando, Florida. However, we cover all 50 states. We have field agents all over the country who have attorneys on retainer in each state. If you are not already working with an agent, just send us an email and we’ll see if we can help you in your specific case, with ZERO up-front cost to you. Just click on “Contact Us”, fill out your information, be sure to include the address of the foeclosed property and one of our agents in that specific area will get back to you promptly.

What is the Overage?

It is just one of the many technical terms used to describe any leftover money that former homeowners are entitled to after their properties go through foreclosure. Overage is created after a certain property is sold at an auction for more than what was owed to the bank, lender, or the county.

How Do I Know This is Not a Scam?

We are here to help you, not hurt you! We won’t take ANY money from you in advance. You are not to share credit/debit card details with anyone from our Agency. You shouldn’t give anyone your bank account information or cash upfront. We will not receive any type of compensation until we recover your funds. Our agency pays all filing fees, court costs, notary fees, and attorney fees (if applicable) out of our pocket. If you have been contacted by one of our agents stating that you have monies owed to you, then we are already confident that you do, otherwise, we would be wasting our time and money. The only item you may be asked for is a copy of your driver’s license depending on the state and county requirements where the foreclosed property was located. This is a fraud prevention that some counties have in place.

How do I know how much money I will be getting?

You will receive paperwork that explains the entire process. The initial paperwork will allow us to open a case on your behalf and will include the dollar amount that you can expect to receive. That amount will be the total recovered amount minus all costs and fees incurred, including attorney fees, to recover your funds. Please feel free to consult with your attorney before signing.

How long does it take to get my money?

Every case is different. It will depend on the complexity of the case, meaning was the property owned by an individual, an entity, or by an individual that is now deceased. It also depends on what county and state the seized property is located. Each State has different laws and statutes concerning foreclosed property surplus. Then each county within that state has its own process and procedures. Some claims can be recovered in as little as two weeks and some cases can take months. The average completion time is three to four weeks. The agent working on your specific case will have a more approximate time frame for you. PLEASE ALSO KEEP IN MIND – there is only a limited time frame to claim your funds that started on the date that your seized property was sold. Once that window closes you will no longer be able to claim what is rightfully yours. It will then belong to the governing body currently holding your funds. So, time is of the essence

What if I Have Already Been Contacted by One of Your Agents?

If you have been contacted, our research department has already determined that you have funds available to recover and has given your information to the agent assigned to your region. One of the most time-consuming tasks that our agency has to accomplish is locating the former owners. Many times people change their number, some multiple times and we end up at a dead end. If you have been contacted, please reach out to that agent and let them know that they have indeed reached the former owner so they can stop looking for you and start helping you recover your funds. You can call the number they provided or fill out your information here in the “Contact Us “ tab and we will get you connected to the right agent.

Why Should I Hire You, Can’t I Do It All By Myself?

You sure can do everything yourself. It is just a lot easier for you not to spend your time and money to research where your funds are, contact all the people you need to, pay for an attorney (retainer plus hourly fee), pay all the fees for getting documents from the government entities, prepare all the documentation, forms, and paperwork, learn about the laws, regulations, and statutes for your particular county and state, filing fees, going to court if necessary, etc. People hire us because we have experience and knowledge in this industry and because there is no risk to you or up-front cost out of your pocket. We take care of everything. You have been through enough already, let someone HELP YOU for a change!
